get out of dodge
I has always dreamed of going places and now I help others do the same.
I grew up in Eastman, Georgia — a one-stoplight town with the nostalgic charm of Stuckey's, wide-open spaces, and a strong sense of community. Even as a child, I felt pulled toward cities and cultures beyond my own. It was never about leaving home behind — it was about expanding the view.
That curiosity carried me from Eastman to Atlanta, then New York, Nashville, Dallas, and eventually across the globe. Before founding Travelers Well Wanders, I spent more than 20 years in brand design and marketing — earning a Master's in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, working with global advertising agencies, leading visual communications for an international airline, and serving as creative director at a destination management company. Those years taught me both the art of travel and the logistics behind it.
I’m a self proclaimed two-sided southerner who is equally at home in the country and the city. I've explored more than 150 cities across 15+ countries — and still going, always gathering insights for clients. Clients get a travel partner the way they have a financial advisor or interior designer — a creative partner who designs every detail with intention.
Today I live in Tennessee with my husband, Bill, staying close to family as "Aunt Bee" while continuing to wander. Read the legacy behind From the Well to Wander— how Travelers Well Wanders began, and why "wander" matters.
